She is known for being on time for events and she also understood the assignment to set the tone and atmosphere into a good feeling of intimacy, love, joy, and happiness. She is accompanied to events by Sid who is her 200-year-old cello that produces beautiful sounds that you can enjoy and dance to.   Meet Jay Emme and Sid   Hi! I'm Jay Émme (like the letters, J M!), and I'm a friendly, professionally trained freelance cellist available for luxury weddings and private functions around the UK, and beyond. I'm addicted to amazing music, weddings and if I'm perfectly honest, gin, and Prosecco! I'm also very creative, with a love of jamming and improvising with friends. Laid back as you please, I'm all about enjoying wherever the music takes us. I know it sounds like a horrendous cliché, but playing my cello is one of my biggest passions, and being able to share that with amazing people like you, means a great deal to me. Educated to a Master's level in Performance whilst also working on a Fellowship of the Royal Schools of Music, I'm truly dedicated to music. I play on a beautiful 200 year old English cello, and he's called Sid. He makes the most lush and amazing sounds. Having spent many years as a wedding cellist and being deeply involved in the wedding industry, I’m acutely aware of the beautiful little things you might want for your wedding day. It’s always amazing to your favourite wedding music performed live on the day; performed on cello is definitely something that could bring a little additional magical luxury to your incredible day!   The cello is brilliantly versatile, from a rich bass notes to a lush singing upper voice, and you’ll hear all of this when I perform for you. As well as performing familiar classical pieces, I use my versatility to include a range of other music genres you might like, including pop/chart songs, Disney favorites, even some rock classics, and much more! There are almost no limits to the magic we can make happen.
