Sam and Ashanti’s Love Story
Fiance – When I met this amazing woman a little over a year ago, I didn’t know where it would lead. It was at a time when I wasn’t so sure about love anymore. But God made me a promise that He had someone special just for me. Someone that would love me internally and externally. Also, someone that would love my children as well. I found that in @somethingaboutashanti. However, not only did I find that; I also found a hidden treasure of kindness, compassion, intelligence, perseverance, beauty, and just all-around goodness. I found a GOOD THING!!! And yesterday, my good thing said Yes!!!! I’m just over the moon happy!!! I’m still on cloud nine and I don’t think I’ll be coming down anytime soon!!! I love you, Shay! 😘

Sam and Ashanti’s Proposal Story:
So, I told Shay that my photography company @samjasperweddings was asked to shoot an editorial shoot for @essence. The shoot was to be featured for a Mother’s Day issue. But the plan all along was to propose to her with her close friends and family. I also wanted to incorporate a hot air balloon. Well, the weather destroyed my original plan, but my amazing planner Joanna Sheppard from @valiaroseevents came to the rescue with the most amazing backup plan and well …as you can see— it was just perfection. 😭
Congrats to the gorgeous couple, Black Love is bliss fam, we don’t know about y’all but this love birds beautiful proposal is giving us the chills. Much blessings and let the wedding planning begin!!
