Jamaican sprinter and former 100m record holder Asafa Powell has officially married his beautiful British Ghanaian model girlfriend Alyshia Miller. Whoop whoop!! The super duper beautiful and stunning Alyshia is elated that her bae of life is off the market as they exchanged vows last week Saturday in an intimate wedding ceremony at Montego Bay in Jamaica.

The beautiful AfroCaribbean wedding took place at the lovely Georgian style mansion, Rose Hall Great House in Montego Bay, St. James, Jamaica which has a surreal panoramic view of the coast.

Announcing the awesome news, elated  Asafa Powell who rocked a dapper bespoke suit by Jamaican based Carlton Brown @carltontttbrown posted:

The beautiful couple both loved up got engaged back in February last year and we have been all up for it as they both look perfect for each other reppin AfroCaribbean true and true. And guess what fam, true love is what we live for, noting Alyshia and Asafa’s hashtag comment #change and #GodsPlan. It is indeed, afterall ‘What God has joined together let no man put asunder’ – Matthew 19:6.

The super duper beautiful British Ghanaian queen was looking like a goddess on her big day. Although no surprises as we all know she’s a natural black beauty, but her glam on her special day was absolutely gorgeous. Thanks to the Jamaican based bridal makeup artist Brushed by Nicole @brushedbynicole who appreciated Alysia for selecting her to be her Bridal Makeup Artist.

When your Luxury Bride is a SuperModel …. Thank you for choosing me to be apart of your Special Day, it’s been a longtime coming!! All the back and forth was worth it! Alyshia, booked me one year in advance for her Luxury Wedding Day. She said I had to do her makeup 😬🙈. I executed effortlessly and flawlessly, if I might say so myself 😉. Might I add, we didn’t even get to do a Bridal Trial, because of Alyshia’s schedule and mine 😬. Congratulations Alyshia and Asafa, may God bless your union!

The After party and wedding reception was lit like, with the couple dancing the night away to great Afrobeat and Dancehall music belted out by the wedding DJ and even getting money sprayed the African party style. That reminds us, where’s your traditional Kente outfit, African queen Alyshia? Uhn especially we were looking forward to seeing Asafa rocking some nice Danshiki or Kente styled outfit?
