How Did You Meet?
I love when people ask how did we meet? Gabriel and I met on February 26,2019 in Trinidad. During this time , it was Carnival. My cousin and I attended a fete called Tailgate. As I was leaving the event, I turned to the right and I saw Gabriel. There was no reason for me to turn in that direction. I did a cute funny face and instantly he crossed the street.
There was a little distance between. However, within a blink of an eye he was standing in front of me. My driver was waiting for my cousin and I for 25 minutes. I told Gabriel I had to leave he said “take my number.” I looked down and my phone had died. My cousin took his no. for me. Till this day I still can’t believe how lucky I was. If I had never turned my head, I would’ve missed out on the love of my life. It was fate, meant to happen.
How He Proposed
In Nov 25 2019, I arrived in Trinidad and Tobago to spend time with Gabriel. When I arrived I was greeted by my best friend Brandon and his best friend Mahkayla. I looked around wondering where is Gabriel? My best friend told me that Gabriel was running late because of work. An agent from the airport asked to speak to me about a situation that occurred on my flight. The agent stated “the guy sitting next to you is being questioned for suspicious activities.”
Instantly, I thought that I was going to jail or being sent back to the States. Even though I knew I was innocent. I was nervous. Gabriel then appeared in front of me. At this moment, Gabriel, Brandon, Mahkayla, and the agent are in front of me. I’m happy that Gabriel made it to the airport but I was also confused. Gabriel then got on one knee and proposed in the airport. I still get emotional watching the video.
What did you enjoy about your Engagement Session?
Honestly, we didn’t have the traditional engagement grace period. After Gabriel proposed we got married six days after.
Your Wedding Date and location. What did you enjoy about your Wedding?
We got married on 12/1/2019 in Trinidad and Tobago. My favorite part of the wedding is when I seen Gabriel cry. This was my first time seeing him cry and it was so heartfelt. Instantly , I started to cry. I will never forget this moment. – Nadesha
My favorite part if the wedding is when my wife reached out to kiss me before the pastor said “And now I pronounce you husband and Wife.” It was a moment of laughter. – Gabriel
