Are You The One? Stars, Clinton Moxam, and Uche Nwosu wedding has proved to us that love cannot be stopped. The couple, who met on the sixth season of the MTV dating show in 2017, tied the knot on Saturday, September 4th, 2021 during a ceremony attended by their loved ones in Chicago. The 150-person wedding, planned by Beth Helmstetter Events was special and beautiful – ranging from the fashion to the music choice, the decor, and more.

Wedding Story
The bride, Uche looked stunning in her Zuhair Murad gown in rum taffeta. Her bridesmaids also looked beautiful in black dresses from Amsale. The groom, Clinton, came dripping in a tuxedo from Men’s Wearhouse. Whoosh!, the couple surely has an impeccable sense of style.
Uche’s father walked her down the aisle to the song “God Only Knows” by The Beach Boys. The couple’s wedding recessional was to “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” by Stevie Wonder. “Golf On TV” by Lennon Stella was the song of choice for the first dance. Again, impeccable taste in music.
Before making their way into the reception, the couple spent a few moments together being photographed by Abby Jiu Photography and walking around Chicago.
Their beautiful white wedding was attended by a number of Are You The One? Stars. Malcolm Drummer, Anthony Martin, Nicole Spiller, Alivia Hunter, Zoe Pugh, and Kam Williams were in attendance. Leroy Garrett of The Challenge made an appearance. Justine Ndiba and Cely Vazquez from Love Island’s second season were also in attendance. Asides from a white wedding, Clinton and Uche also had a traditional Nigerian wedding and were seen wearing custom outfits for the occasion.
Love Notes
Clinton posted a sweet message to his bride on Instagram along with a slide show of their wedding pictures.
“Thank you for choosing me, thank you for loving me, thank you for being you. I love you, I’m the luckiest guy to have ever existed on this planet. People will never be able to understand your strength, how much you put up with and the ways in which you have absolutely changed my life. Let’s build this life together and allow the blessings to rain down as they always have. I love you Perfect”
Uche also expressed her post-wedding sentiments to Clinton via Instagram.
“To know you is to love you, to be with you is a privilege, and to be your wife is the biggest honor of my life. I love you and I can’t wait to spend forever with you . This past weekend has felt like a dream. So entirely grateful for all of our friends and family who joined us in celebrating us, we feel so blessed”
How Clinton Moxam and Uche Nwosu Met
The US-based Nigerian, Uche, and her sweetheart, Clinton whose heritage is Jamaican met on the sixth season of the popular MTV reality dating series – Are You the One? in 2017. The reality TV show uses a dating algorithm to help young people find true love through the use of interviews, questionnaires, and testing. Though they were not a match on the show, the couple believed they were meant to be. They continued their relationship even when the cameras stopped rolling.
Proposal Story
During the show’s reunion, Clinton asked Uche to be his girlfriend. On June 18, 2020, the couple announced their engagement on Instagram. They had a romantic seaside proposal in Malibu, California. Read all about it here.
